Advanced Trumpet Ensemble to National Trumpet Competition

Eagle7, the Southern Miss Advanced Trumpet Ensemble, has advanced to the live rounds of the National Trumpet Competition! This competition brings together the top high school, undergraduate and graduate trumpet students from around the nation for a week of intensive competition at the highest level. In addition to the competition, performances and masterclasses with world-class trumpeters help to inspire and further inform the next generation of trumpet performers and educators. This year's competition is being held at Messiah College in Mechanicsburg, PA from March 18-21.

The funds from this Eagle Fever campaign will help us to cover lodging for the seven ensemble members, as well as their travel to and from the competition. No donation is too small, and we are eternally grateful for the continued and ever-increasing support from our campus, local community, friends and family members from around the country.
