Eagle Fever offers students, faculty and staff a resource for sharing fundraising initiatives with their peers to generate support for Southern Miss.

Projects for Eagle Fever include new programs and initiatives directly impacting students, emergent needs of the University, or other Southern Miss ventures.

Southern Miss faculty, staff and registered student groups representing University-sponsored activities or initiatives may apply.

When considering your fundraising goal, note that most projects are able to raise $5,000 or less. The majority of donors will come from your family, friends and other personal networks. Do you know enough people willing to donate to your project to reach your goal? Remember, it is important to set a realistic goal so that your project is successful. Every email sent is valued at approximately $4, therefore if you sent 1,000 emails, a return of approximately $4,000 can be estimated. Goals should be set according to this best practice.
