Support Fraternity and Sorority Life at Southern Miss!

Fraternity and Sorority membership has been a staple involvement experience for so many students at Southern Miss. Since 1935, people have joined a community seeking to engage with their peers, excel in the classroom, become involved on campus and give back to those around them. Thousands of notable alumni across the country attribute much of their success to the experiences and connections they gained from fraternity and sorority membership. We want this experience to continue to thrive for the thousands of Golden Eagles to come!

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is home to three governing councils: the College Panhellenic Council, the Interfraternity Council and the National Pan-Hellenic Council. Those three councils are home to a combined 27 chapters. Our staff and students have begun the process of evaluating and improving all that we do in order to continue to attract the best and the brightest to our communities. Southern Miss experienced it's largest incoming class in 2018 and we want to help our University keep that momentum!

This year we will transform the way we tell the story of fraternity and sorority membership at Southern Miss. In order to do that, we need to begin to tell our story to the many prospective students and their families who are both in our backyards and around the region. This spring, we have begun the process of doing just that. There are already large scale events set in motion that will invite thousands of prospective students to Hattiesburg for the sole purpose of learning more about all that membership in one of our chapters has to offer.

With your help, we can continue on the right path. With your donation, our office and its students can continue to plan and implement more programs for prospective students, more alumni engagement events and increased mailing communication with prospective students and their families.
