DuBard School Textbooks for Tykes
Imagine if your child couldn’t speak or couldn’t understand your words. What do you do? Where do you turn? The DuBard School for Language Disorders at The University of Southern Mississippi is a nationally-recognized public, special needs school that has continued to provide the gift of oral and written language to individuals with severe communication disorders—including the written language disorder dyslexia—for over 55 years.
Our enrollment program is of no cost to the 80 children and their families but is only partially funded by the Mississippi Department of Education, so we rely on private donations from individuals just like you. This year, the part of that State funding that was specifically designated for textbooks was not included in our appropriation. We hope you will partner with us to help provide the special textbooks our children need to learn to read, write, listen, learn, and understand on levels otherwise thought unattainable and become enthusiastic, productive members of society.
On behalf of our children, thank you!
Question: Do I have to choose one of the giving levels?
Answer: No, you can give any amount you wish! Follow these steps...
